Fiat has added the 500 Colour Therapy – a retro-look Fiat 500 – to the model range in the UK. The Fiat 500 belongs to the same school of marketing as the MINI, so a new trim range to cash in on its ‘Homage to an Icon’ status seems an obvious route to garner a few more sales for the very likeable 500. Which is why the UK is getting the Fiat 500 Colour Therapy, a new model range that sits in the 500 line-up between the Pop and Lounge trim levels and comes in five retro-inspired colours - New Age Cream, Countrypolitan Yellow, Pasodoble Red, Volare Blue, and Tech House Grey.
The 2011 Central Academy of Fine Arts recently held its annual transportation design degree show, themed '2053 sea, land and air amphibious transportation and entertainment design'. Lead by Professor Edward Wong, director of the school's transportation design department, China's leading design school asked students to exert their creativity whilst being conscious of advanced technologies and material applications. Lexus today issued a sneak peak at its new Premium Compact Concept ready to make its public debut at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show in mid-September.Think BMW 1-series by Lexus, and you'll get the idea. Not that you'd know too much from the solitary teaser sketch released today.Details are vague at present, with only the above sketch and no technical information available to showcase the long-awaited little Lexus. Expect more details and pictures to be announced in a few weeks' time – but we hear there is likely to be hybrid power for the compact premium car.
